Garhwal Himalaya

This valley, spread over an area of 5 square km near Sona Peak at a height of 13,000 feet, 28 km from Joshimath, is known by the name 'Chenap'.

Enchanting Fragrance:
The enchanting fragrance of flowers in Chenab Valley flows with the gusts of wind which captivates the mind and removes all the tiredness, you will not get such fragrant air anywhere else.



Snow capped Mountain view :
the mountain view is amzing from this valley you will see many Snowcapped Garhwal mountains and just opposite Auli and Joshimath valley view.

Chanan Hal:
The natural flowerbed present in Chenap Bugyal is known as 'Chanan Hal'. It is said that every year Goddess Nanda's brother Latu Devta ploughs the field and prepares the flowerbed.

Latu Kund :
There is a huge pond on the left side of Chenap Bugyal, which has now taken the form of a swamp. This pond is known as Latu Kund.

Dhara (Waterfall):
The huge waterfall originating from the peak called Kala Dang (Black Stone) just opposite Chenab Bugyal is known as Jakhbhut Dhara.

Maskwasyani Garden :
There is a huge bed of Brahma Kamal on the left side of Chenap Bugyal, which remains green from July to September. It is named Maskwasyani.
Phoolana Bugyal:
400 meters away from Chenap Bugyal, there is a huge bed of herbs and flowers on a slope of 130 degrees. The villagers know it by the name of Phulana Bugyal.

Kala Dang:
Just opposite Chenap Bugyal is a huge black rock peak, which remains snow-covered till September. Being black, this peak looks very attractive.



Difficulty Level
Chenap Valley Trek could be the most sublime and incredible journey for the trekkers amongst all the treks in Uttarakhand, it is moderate level of trek will be passing through forest and steep uphill, one should be experienced of similar treks. .

Is it suitable for children's?
Yes, the trek is favorable for children's who are up to 15 years old as the difficulty level is moderater but should be experienced of any treking before. The thing that one has to keep in mind is to take the proper medication with them at the higher altitude, though we provide every possible thing it is always better to keep your medicines. According to your health as this trek is moderate so Hydration is the most important thing when you will trek to the higher altitude, so keep your body hydrated while trekking.


Best Season :

Chenap Valley Trek Best time is between April to June and sep to mid November; the trek to this admirable destination can be planned between these months as the goal glows the most.
Whereas in other months this glorious destination is not so accessible, but in these months one can behold the beauty in abundance, the destination offers the splendid view.
The landscape is beyond imagination; the gigantic mountains wrapped with snow looks mesmerizing.
One should bring enough pair of clothes and better quality trekking boots so that the trekker can be covered thoroughly and does not face any difficulty during the stay at this temperature.
There is a vast difference in the mountain temperature, and when it's about the trek to Chenap Valley Trek as it is the higher altitude trek, so it might be possible that one can encounter a little difficulty during acclimatization.
